We aim to collect as little information as possible. The website does not require you to create an account, and you can use every calculator without telling us who you are.

  • information you choose to send us when you contact us;
  • technical information that web servers record automatically (log data); and
  • information handled by third-party services the website uses.

Calculator inputs

Values you enter into our calculators — such as bodyweight, age, sex, exercise, weight lifted and repetitions — are processed in your web browser. They are not sent to us or stored on our servers, and we do not build a profile from them.

To make results easy to bookmark and share, some calculators add your inputs to the page’s web address (for example, ?bodyweight=80&reps=5). This means the values can appear in your browser history, and in any link you choose to share. If you reload or share such a link, the full web address — including those values — may be recorded in standard server logs, as described under Log data. You can remove them at any time with the calculator’s Reset button.

Contact information you send us

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, the reason for your message and the message itself.

Our contact form does not send your message through our website. When you press Send Message, it opens your own email app with the message filled in, and the email is sent by your email provider when you choose to send it. We then receive it like any other email.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Our calculators do not set cookies, and we do not currently use cookies for analytics or advertising.

The platform that runs the website may set cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work — for example, for site administrators who are logged in, or for security. These are not used to track visitors.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use this website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, device and browser type, and approximate geographic location. We use this data to improve our calculators, guides, and overall site performance. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser settings. Log data

Like most websites, the servers that host strengthlevelcalculator.com automatically record basic technical information when a page is requested. This typically includes your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page requested (including its full web address), the referring page and the date and time of the request.

This information is used to deliver the website, keep it secure, and diagnose technical problems. It is kept by our hosting provider in line with its own retention practices.

Third-party services

The website currently relies on the following third parties:

  • Website hosting — our hosting provider stores and serves the website and processes log data as described above.
  • Google Fonts — our pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Your email provider — if you contact us by email, your message is delivered by your own email provider and ours, under their privacy policies.

Advertising

The website does not currently display advertising, and no advertising network collects information about you through our pages.

Future advertising partners

We may show advertising in the future to help keep the calculators free. Advertising partners commonly use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad and measure performance, and some may show ads based on your interests.

Before any advertising is added, we will:

  • update this policy to name each advertising partner and link to its privacy policy;
  • describe the information the partner collects and how you can opt out of personalised ads; and
  • ask for your consent where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and similar jurisdictions.

How information is used

We use the limited information described above to:

  • provide the website and its calculators;
  • reply to your messages, and act on corrections and feedback;
  • keep the website secure and fix technical problems; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your calculator inputs to identify you.

Where data protection laws require a legal basis for processing, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and securing the website and in answering the messages you send us, and on your consent where consent is required.

Data retention

  • Calculator inputs are not stored by us. They stay in your browser and in any web address you keep or share.
  • Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message, and are then deleted when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
  • Log data is kept by our hosting provider according to its own retention practices.

Data security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we collect as little information as possible to limit risk. Your rights

Children’s privacy

The website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the website changes — for example, if we add analytics, advertising or a new third-party service — or when the law requires it. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. For significant changes, we will make the update clear on the website.
